I had better say that he took a swing at the player and might not have connected. I didn’t watch it too closely and didn’t watch the game, and obviously he didn’t drop him!
Will be interesting to see if its Cardiff or Fulham coming up this weekend. Also... glad to see Millwall's particular brand of fandom remaining outside the PL.
Never would have thought Southampton would be looking at going down but their run in is pretty tough, probably that away game at Swansea next week will decide it. Imagine their squad is going to get picked apart good if they go down as they seem to have some quality players.
Also noticed Stevie G going to Rangers today, dunno what he's thinking there, guess it's a big first opportunity but that club seems to have become a shambles spending well beyond their means again just to get trounced. Sounds like our Canadian international Scotty Arfield may be headed there as well which is a good signing for them but again dunno how they are offering premier league level wage packets and hoping to remain solvent again.

Rangers is a Big (Little) Club, so its a pretty major opportunity, besides it sets the bar for his career, you typically only go up.
I wish him the best, but I really know nothing about Stevie's Tactical or Managerial skills.
His experience as a Captain might serve him well in terms of understanding and motivating players though.

Yes based on years gone by there's still a lot of name recognition there and I get that but heading to a club with that much pressure to win with so many financial issues seems like a tough spot to start out. Also I dunno about managers always going up, if you fail at a level badly you usually go down or fade away. Would have seemed to me to make more sense to start with a good solid championship or even league 1 team with good financial backing and less pressure. Hopefully he does well anyway and makes it interesting there, seeing him and Brendan R face off as managers next year will be kind of cool next year.
