He's 30 and needs a grid, but had been a very consistent producer on the back end and has top pairing minutes and PP duties in Florida. I also think he's worth more.

Sorry everyone, no chance I add something to a good 2018 2nd for a 40 game rental, ain't happening. The way this league works it's possible he could draft a 1st rounder with that pick.
If the majority vote is NO someone better step up and offer him a good 2nd + prospect otherwise he will get no return on Yandle and will be stuck to either let him go for nothing or forced to sign him to a new 3 year 1-way deal. Not ideal.
And if the prospect everyone is talking about is going to be just an average guy anyways why on earth would you vote no?

To clarify it's $7Mill to cover his salary this year, there is no cash for next year.
I have no plans to sign him, he's a 40 game rental to try and give Doug something to work with, my D is horrible.

Is anyone willing to give manwiches a 2018 2nd and a good prospect for Yandle? If so, please speak up so if this gets a majority NO vote, he will have another deal lined up.
Prospect would have to be good based on comments here because there is no reason to vote no if the difference is an average prospect.

I tried like a bugger last season to get a 2nd round pick for Lucic, ended up trading him for a depth player at the deadline because I wasnt able to find a buyer

SJ is in the lower portion of the standings, its a high second rounder to a rebuilding team for a rental UFA for a potential playoff push? it fits the needs of both teams? values not perfect but in line with goals.

You can go ahead and close it down, I’ll keep my 2nd. Sorry manwiches, I just don’t agree with some here that I should add a good prospect as well.
Hope you find a trading partner that will pay up, I recommend reaching out to anyone that voted No first and go from there. You should get your 2nd and good prospect from one of them.
