Islanders acquire Giordano

This was a tough, tough trade to make, but it's done and I'm happy about it.

To the Sharks:

D Morgan Rielly (71)
LW Zach Parise (73)

To the Islanders:

D Mark Giordano (75)
C Mark Letestu (73)

This deal was made over the course of a long while and we're glad to be able to add a guy like Giordano to the fold. We view Parise/Letestu as a slight downgrade, but Rielly to Giordano is a big upgrade for next season, one we're glad to make.

Sharks were getting close to the Cheese cap at +$18mill and were having a very hard time finding a good winger. We solve both with this deal as we shed over $3mill in Cheese and Parise can play any wing for us. We can shuffle some guys around and considering the 'downgrades" lately, we still have a competitive top 6:

Parise(73) - Zibanejad (74) - Hossa(73)
