In a few short months, the Golden Knights are going to have to clear massive amounts of cap room (having accumulated bupkis in the meantime because they're deep into LTIR relief) to activate a player who may never be able to perform as well as he did before his surgery. As some of the MDs on the board have reminded us, ‘full recovery’ in this procedure is gauged by returning to normal everyday life, not by playing a full-contact sport at an elite level 82 times a year. That part is still terra incognita.

Missed the Leafs and Flyers game since I was at commonwealth for the Canada games. Both ended up being overtime losses. Watched the Sens game and it was a 4-0 win. Not missing the game today.
