Probably the best control and pressure with the empty net I’ve seen from the Flames in quite a while.

Just tuned in and saw goals. Wonder how much coverage eatbread’s sweet goal will get. If it’s mcd***face scoring that goal we’d see it for weeks.

Common sense would have said Calgary should beat a crappy Montreal team and the Oilers should lose to a undefeated Bruin team in Boston, so of course the opposite happens.

At that point there was 7 seconds to go and they were in their own end

Yeah they would’ve maybe had an o zone faceoff but really the game was pretty much done

True enough, though Monahan had a couple clean wins.

How long has it been since the Flames lost a game in which posters did not blame the referee? And then some comments about our enemies up North not getting similar treatment?

I think since the 35th of Nevervember.

I get that sometimes a game turns on some bad calls…..

But…..

The Habs were 2/5 on the PP and Flames were 0/1

I was wondering during the game if Ferlat was reffing, but he wasn’t. It was Justin St Pierre from Dolbeau Quebec and Pierre Lambert from St Hubert Quebec

Probably just coincidence that the penalties were a bit lopsided
