A toddler who will let me watch a game or two... I can only watch The Polar Express and The Good Dinosaur so many times.

I’d treat this like a 7-game playoff series, with the goal being 4 wins.

8 points should keep them in the race for Pacific Division lead and comfortably in a playoff spot at American Thanksgiving.

Then you focus on righting the ship at home and against western conference teams.

What a gruesome road trip. I’d be happy with 10+, expecting 8 or 9.

The league will be amazed at how well the Flames play on this trip and award them an extra point.

15.

10 points it is! Remarkable considering how condensed the games were and the amount of travel.

Well done Flames!

Strange scheduling on this trip adding more kilometers than needed. Starts with Montreal -> Toronto -> Ottawa when Ottawa is closer to Montreal. Then goes Philly -> Buffalo -> New York when New York is closer to Philly and Buffalo is closer to Toronto.

Smoking Ottawa was the turning point. I think it really built their confidence after the tough stretch before that (dating back to the Sharts game).

I'll be honest, if you include the home loss to the Sharks just prior to the trip, things weren't looking great after the OT loss to Philly. But the team managed to turn it around afterwards, so kudos.

4-1-2 is impressive and something to be proud of.
