Great. Now we have to wait for Buffalo to set theirs, and then the Eichel trade can happen once Eichel is on LTIR and the Flames can fit him in.

I am admittedly biased …but I thought Ritchie oscillated between average and terrible every single shift.
I hate seeing his name on the opening night roster.

I thought the Sabres are unable to place him on IR because it would take them below the salary floor?

Weird, I like the make up for the most part. Mangi has skyrocketed up the roster and Dube still has upward mobility.
Our top 9 looks good to me with Pitlick healthy, the 4th line consists of defensively dependable vets, and we have some rookies pushing for spot duty.
The D is the biggest question mark but if/how the young guys (Hanifin, Andersson, Valimaki, and Kylington) improve and how Zadorov meshes will determine the bulk of our success. Gudbranson is the only ugly aspect of the roster to me.
