Saw the at 10:09PM while out at the dogpark, heading out again to catch them 90 mins later. I'm in the SW. I thought SpaceX had way more than that but yes, seemed like 20 or so.

First thing I thought was rockets heading for the airport … I’m watching too much news I guess!

I had a moment of pure "what the ####" before I realized they were Elon Musk's satellites, way lower orbit than I thought and far fewer of them. Very cool.

There’s about 2000. They go up 60 at a time in a line and take a few months to self climb to final orbit. Once they’re up they spread out.

You will learn 2 things today. One, as has been pointed out, they are Starlink satellites. Two, "Satellites" does not have an apostrophe.

I watched these pass over me at Panorama about a month ago. Very cool and kind of surreal. A lady came up to me and asked if I was seeing the same thing or if she was hallucinating.

So circling we'll orbit another year
Moon still tries to steal the tide away
Don't need another satellite
Don't need another satellite [don't need another satellite]

Satellite's gone up to the skies
Things like that drive me out of my mind
I watched it for a little while
I like to watch things on TV
Satellite of love
