You thought last night's line-up was bad? Just wait.

Watch this group put on a show compared to last night's group. Not a high bar, I know, but still.

Glad they are giving Ritchie - Pelletier-Ruzicka-Phillips -Pospisil-Gawdin no rest. A big part of being a pro is being able to bounce back. Right now, non of these players belong on an NHL roster. Time for them to prove us wrong.

I bet tonight's defence does significantly better than last night's. Stone and Kylington are both better at moving the puck than Gudbranson and Zadarov.

I just hope he gets his reps in so that he can dominate the regular season. Nobody cares about pre-season at the end of the year.

I thought Zadorov was okay at moving the puck yesterday. I also thought he did quite well to skate it out of the zone, to pass it to a forward. That's just what I saw though. Gudbranson was definitely off though. I wish it was just rust, but I remember him playing for Ottawa last year, and his play checks out.

Before the endless PK in the 2nd, I thought that Zadorov moved the puck well. He had a few nice passes under pressure early.

That said, no one played well in the 2nd or 3rd, so its tough to judge if Zadorov couldn't give a pass, or no forward could catch a pass.

It’s interesting that Gudbranson does have a poor reputation (in his play) seemingly everywhere he goes. I can’t think of any team that he has played for where he performed well even in a bottom paring role. Fans of every team he’s played for seem very happy to see him go.

Yet there is consistently a team that is willing to give him a shot no matter what. His metrics are all below replacement-level. It definitely feels like a player that has created a fairly long NHL career off of two things… he’s big and he was drafted high.

Super excited to see Dube at centre.

I'm also willing to bet that Stone-Valimaki will look more solid than Gudbranson-Valimaki did yesterday.

Last night was the worst pre-season performance I've ever seen.

Can only get better, right?

It'd be nice to have something to get excited about.. Mangi has a chance to be something good for flames fans this year..

Brett Ritchie was all kinds of horrible.

Hopefully it was all rust, cause he was dragging his line down.
