Lost in Translation is the first thing that comes to mind.

Children of Men.

It’s one of the most visually stunning movies I’ve ever seen, and it has a number of incredible scenes that leave my eyeballs begging for me to blink. It feels like such a realistic dystopia that I get caught up in that.

Spartacus. When they all stand up.

Rudy. The jersey scene.

The Kings Speech. The speech.

Shawshank when brooks almost kills Haywood to avoid getting released, when Andy escapes and when Red finds Andy on the beach.

The ending of American History X.

The ending of the notebook.

Saving Private Ryan when the weasel guy watches his friend die.

8 Mile. The scene when Rabbit puts the Falcon in his place at the rap battle.
yes. the knife scene with Adam Goldberg. that was a powerful scene that got me. you could feel his fear.

two I'd like to add.

Dead Poets Society. Saw it in the theatres as a young adult and it hit very strongly. If it wasn't for that movie, I may not have gone to Australia for a year.

I haven't watched it in 15 or 20 years, so have no idea how it's aged, but Natural Born Killers is on my list.

I saw it in the theatre not knowing much about it. I can still remember clearly coming out of the theatre into the daylight, and how I felt.
it was very disturbing and thought provoking. blew my mind.

man Rodney Dangerfield nailed his small role in that one. and Woody, my god. going from a dumb bartender to Micky Knox?
he sure put to rest being typecast, that's for sure.

Transformers when all the original autobots get killed off in the first 10 minutes.

Another one for me: Cabin in the Woods.

I went into it not knowing it was a horror parody of sorts and just had such a grand old time that I think that it's still among one of my favorite movies to watch now and again.

I know I'm a nerd, but I grew up on comics and love the Marvel movies so, while I didn't cry, seeing Captain America pick up Thor's hammer in Endgame filled me with a lot of emotion and I still get giddy when I rewatch it.

Braveheart, particularly the ‘Freedom’ speech scene.

The lion king.

Good Will Hunting, on friendship and also just nostalgia.

Wow that animation looks way more aged than I remember.
