Well, in the NHL, teams make the playoffs, on average, about 50% of the time.

Has anyone heard anything about the season ticket prices?

I think they were supposed to stay the same going into 2020-21 but can we expect an increase for this coming season?

Has everyone been getting a relocation email? I haven't received anything yet and wondering if I should be reaching out.

Mine came 3.28pm yesterday afternoon:

Thank you for standing by us through the past 15 months. We hope that you are well and looking forward to the Summer ahead. We are encouraged by the Alberta government’s "Open For Summer" plan and encourage all Albertans to adhere to the guidance by Alberta Health Services through the coming months ahead.

Preparations for the 2021-22 NHL Regular Season are underway and we will be ready to host games in the Fall. For now, below is a list of key dates over the Summer to be aware of:

Upcoming Key Dates
• Relocation Registration – June 14 - 22
• Seat Relocation Event – July 6 - 9
• 2021-22 NHL Regular Season Schedule Release – Mid-July
• 2021-22 Calgary Flames Account Updates – Mid-July
• 2021-22 Payment Plans Begin – Mid-August

As in previous years, planning for the upcoming season begins with the Calgary Flames Seat Relocation Event, which will be held July 6 – 9, 2021. Similar to previous seasons, we require Season Ticket Members to register their account to be included in the assignment of dates and times for relocation. This will improve the efficiency of distributing times and will result in a better relocation experience.

If you are happy with your current seats, no action is required.

How The Seat Relocation Event Works
• You must register to receive additional information and a specified time to participate.
• In 2021, the Seat Relocation Event will be held online.
• Available inventory is held for our current Season Ticket Members to view and relocate to. Any remaining seats will be offered to the Hot House Wait List following the event.
• Time slots are assigned based on seniority of account (the longer you have been a Season Ticket Member with us, the earlier your assigned time will be).
• If you cannot participate in your assigned time slot, you can have someone else log in to myFlames Account in your place, or choose to participate in a time slot after your designated time (you cannot attend an earlier session).
• If you decide to relocate your seats, pick your new seats and exchange them in your account. Your previous seats will be released into the relocation inventory.

Has anyone received email confirmation of their relocation registration?

In years past, they have always sent a "Thank you for Registering' email, but I did not get one this year.

Me neither, considering calling to make sure it registered properly

July 8, 2:00 pm for me. I doubt I will move (in greens), but it is always worth a look.

I've been a long time season ticket holder in 226 but looking to relocate to a more affordable section. I've heard great things about the green section. Anyone have any advice for the best greens in the dome or what I should look for come relocation day? Thanks in advance.

Greens are the cheapest price level in the second bowl and generally offer good value. Mine are Row 21 in Section 205 and for 2020-21 are $2,288.83 per seat. I was originally in 204 but moved as the people in front of me became annoying. If you ever need to re-sell greens they are quite easy to get rid of at or close to the season ticket holder cost.

Some prefer to be closer to one of the corners and others like being more directly behind the net. Either way, you get a great view of the whole ice and see plays develop in both directions. Don't get too close to the stairs leading up to the third level though e.g. Section 202 next to 201 as the people coming and going will obstruct your view. Also, being in the attack end may or may not be important to you.

I like the raised concourse that serves the ends of the arena as they have a fair bit of seating and tables which you don't get on the main concourse. Also, it's not too far to go for concessions and they don't seem to be as busy as the main concourse for line-ups.

As for washroom, the ones under sections 202/203 and 216/217 are big and typically not as busy as other washrooms. Depending on where you parked, getting out of the arena quickly after a game is one of the few downsides of greens.

Green's cover rows 17-26 so if you can get a lower row you'll be closer to the ice. In fact, row 17 in any green section would be really good seats but unlikely to be available. Be aware that the full view of the jumbotron from the rows towards the very back can be obstructed by the banners hanging form the ceiling.

Interestingly, if good centre ice seats are available to me this year I will probably move. What row are your seats in Section 226 - maybe we could switch?!? (Feel free to PM me if you would like to explore the possibility)

July 8th at 11am. Keeping my 3 in orange, keeping my pair in green. Want to change my seats in 212 to green or orange.

But it still appears they won't be collecting payment till mid August?

July 8th @ 3pm. Might look to move a few rows down, if available. Currently in Sec 225.

July 8th at 10AM.

Currently in section 217 (thanks to a heads up from a fellow CP'er in the relocation seat thread of that year), and I'm in love with the seats. Unlikely I'll move, but I'll keep an eye out for anyone who goes after me and give a heads up to any seats available during my slot.

...at least I think I was in 217...was it 219? Or am I in row 19? Yeah...friggin' pandemic

Mind if I ask what the great heads up was about?

It was someone in the window right before me, and they called out the specific seats that were available.

So the moment I logged in, I went straight to the seats and put them in my cart.

I just logged into my Flames account; they were asking for a password reset and to setup 2 factor authentication. So might be an idea for anybody to get that setup now as opposed to missing any potential moves on your date.

I'm also not likely going to move. I did like the previous experience of going down and taking some time to look at other options. Obviously not as much of an option for that for this year.

Did you happen to see a relocation option or does it show when it is the schedule time? The screens look different this year. Thanks
