It may sound strange but it actually saddens me to see this ongoing within the Jeopardy franchise. I feel the legacy of Jeopardy and everything that Trebek has built is going away.

not 100% blaming one particular exec producer, but all the old timers who ran the show for decades appear to now be gone. Either retired or pushed out.

Jeopardy will just be another game show. The aura Trebek helped give the show died with him.
