Honestly, it's about time they were put together.

The spread the wealth approach was fine while things were going well, but with goals harder to come by on the home stand we needed to make that adjustment.

I'm sure this was all part of the plan for Sutter though. I bet he was easing Monahan back into it by slotting him lower to start. Now that he seems more up to speed, it's time to stack the lines.

That second line is gonna be a shooting gallery with all three players having a shoot-first mentality. Not sure if it’s going to work without a true playmaker, but excited to see Monny play with two of the fastest and hard-nosed players on the team. It’ll be fun to watch

Love that 2nd line. I've really liked how Monahan is playing.

Like the look of that Coleman-Monahan-mangiapane line. I think we can get more out of Coleman so it’s good that he’s being out in a position to produce.

Monahan is potting one tonight. Expecting a big bounce-back effort from the entire team.

Backlund has to step up his game, and I expect him to soon. One of those guys you dont worry about (defensively) but he really can be the difference(offensively) in these tight games between winning and losing. Really an important player for our team. When Backlund is on I think we are at our best and his play has left me at times wanting more this year (and we know he is capable of it).

Just watch out for the nightly fires and car flipping after the game.

He's first in xGA/60.

His last four games have featured xGF% of 79%/60%/73% and 68%

That's exceeding my expectations to be honest, and by a fair margin.

Valimaki is 7th (of 8 ahead of Stone) in all those categories.
Who's first? Andersson? Kylington?

be careful with those Habs fans, we have to keep them chained up in this forum, not sure what could happen live and in person!

I would imagine the only thing worse then Habs fans in the Dome is Habs fans at Bell center.

Monahan doesn't seem like the pouty type to me.

Awesome. It's my favourite nhl hockey arena. Unreal atmosphere.

Anyone else change the channel because it looks like another McDoofus segment coming up?

I wish it was but somehow it was worse. I’ve seen high school A/V club productions that are less cringey. It’s amateur hour, except all the time.
