Hopefully we'll see some changes in personnel at SN as well. Its become hard to watch games on that network.

Meh I don't mind it. There is some great talent like Chris Cuthbert, Kelly Hrudey and Rick Ball. I also thought John Bartlett did a fantastic job in the playoffs. Some of their panel participants are a bit weak but overall there is a lot to like with the current lineup.

Can anyone speak to their impressions/experiences with SportsnetNow? I’m considering ending my cable subscription and just going with internet. But I will only do that is I can watch all the flames games live on my TV. I have an AppleTV hooked up to my television and I believe I can use that to stream live games in HD on my TV using the SportsnetNow app and a subscription. Any reviews/advise would be appreciated.

Works great for me on PC and Android devices. My only complaint is the significant delay (as much as 1-2 mins) behind the live event and TV broadcasts. In close games it can be annoying having people text you about the final score or have a score notification pop up on your phone while you're still watching the final minute.

The breakdown for all the canadian teams and it is excellent news.
Calgary Flames
52 national games and 30 regional games
This is an increase of sixteen national games from three seasons ago.
19/20 Saturdays are on HNIC (most to be on the CBC)
The lone regional game, Flames at Capitals, is a matinee and it will be on Sportsnet West.
4/4 Wednesdays and all are national on Sportsnet West, SN1, and/or SN360.
7/7 Mondays and all are national on Sportsnet West and/or Sportsnet One
The other 22 national games:
They are on the other four days of the week on the assorted Sportsnet channels including the other regional channels. I will update this soon along with the other canadian teams.

Cut my cable awhile back. I’ve had the same set up as you - AppleTV. Have no complaints at all about SNNow [+]. Works great for what I needed for the Flames games and usually has a replay available if I miss something...or for those rare occasions it was so good I want to see it again. Last season, they for some reason bonused NHL Live as part of the subscription, which was great. Hoping that happens again.....they’ve recently revamped SNNow and it seems pretty good so far.
Hope that helps

Toronto Maple Leafs
40 national games and 42 regional games same as two seasons ago
All 22 Saturdays with most, if not all on the CBC.
10/12 Wednesdays with most games on Sportsnet and two on SN1.
The two regional games will have one on Sportsnet Ontario and the other game on TSN4. It is ironic that both of these regional games are national games in the USA.
All 8 Mondays with most of them on Sportsnet and one on SN1.
__________________________________________________ __________
Montreal Canadiens
32 national games and 50 regional games, same as two seasons ago.
21/24 Saturdays will be HNIC games on City, CBC, and Sportsnet, the 3 regional matinee games will be on TSN2.
5/6 Wednesday games with 4 on Sportsnet and one on SN1.
The lone regional game will be on TSN2. Once again, It is ironic that the one regional game will be national in the USA.
6/7 Monday games with 6 on Sportsnet, the one matinee regional game will be on TSN2.
__________________________________________________ __________
Ottawa Senators
27 national games and 55 regional games, same as two seasons ago.
17/22 Saturdays will be HNIC games on the various national channels. There are 5 regional morning/matinee games that will be on TSN5.
3/5 Wednesdays are national games with six of them on Sportsnet and one on SN1. The 2 regional games will be on TSN5.
7/8 Mondays are national games, 4 on Sportsnet and three on SN1. The 2 regional games will be on TSN5.
__________________________________________________ __________
Winnipeg Jets
22 national games and 60 regional games, same as two seasons ago.
All 12 Saturdays will be HNIC games on the various national channels.

It will be a brand new state of the art studio for Sportsnet's NHL coverage.
