At the start of this thread I had not seen The Wolf of Wall Street.

I really enjoyed it.

I still have not seen Citizen Kane despite being an old movie buff.

I finally watched the Apartment (1960) last night. I can't believe it took me this long watch it. Unbelievably clever movie with outstanding performances from Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Billy Wilder was a genius. I need to Witness for the Prosecution, Sabrina, and Stalag 17 now

If you haven't already, watch The King of Comedy. So much from Joker is intentionally lifted from it.

Another of my all time favorites. It holds up incredibly well even today with a very different culture.

As far as Billy Wilder directed movies, I’ve previously only seen Some Like it Hot, Sunset Boulevard and Ace in the Hole. I’ll check out the Spirit of St Louis though. He’s an amazingly versatile director. His movies seem to run the gambit of genres like Stanley Kubrick.

Any of the Daniel Craig Bond movies after Casino Royale. I don't even know the names of them. I really liked Casino Royale also.

Bleh, Platoon was only okay back in the day.

Psycho probably doesn't hold up anymore, but for the time it was groundbreaking for technical and storytelling reasons.

I don't think that movie aged well at all and it's nowhere near as old as some of the other movies being discussed.

+1. Typical James Cameron fare (like Titanic). The visual spectacle can't overcome the laughable dialog. Rose! Rose!

Unforgiven is in my top 5 movies of all time. Excellent performances and lots of depth in the characters. Why do you have a problem finishing it? Too slow?

First try was with the DVD, which was terrible quality. It's on Netflix now, but I simply haven't had a chance to watch any movie recently. I had to watch the latest SNW episode over three sittings lol.

I haven't seen any of the last three Bond movies.

I didn't like either of the first two Craig movies, and nothing I've seen of the next ones suggest that they'd be any more to my tastes.

I've never seen a single Harry Potter movie. The only things I know about that franchise is that Harry is a wizard and Snape kills Dumbledore
