Default Tron needs your funkin help

Hi everyone,

I’m not sure where to put this or if these types of posts are even allowed but here goes anyhow.

I just found out that an old friend has fallen on very hard times.

Andy Sparacino, a local musician and actor best know for his role as Tron in the Fubar movies is currently going through an extensive rehab program that his family isn’t able to continue paying for.

While I haven’t seen Andy in probably 10 years, during the years that I did see him regularly at local shows and events like rock central’s stampede breakfast I could only describe him as one of the nicest people I had ever met, so needless to say it’s a little gut wrenching to hear where he’s ended up.

This go fund me was set up by his friends(one of them being the actor who plays Terry in Fubar so it’s totally legit) and the money is not going to Andy but rather it will be paid directly to the long term recovery program he is currently going through.

They’re just under $3k away from their goal of $20k. I know a lot of people are struggling right now due to the pandemic but if you’re one of the luckier ones who is able to help I hope you’ll consider doing so. There’s more information at the link below.

Looks like the goal has been passed.

Tron funken blow. What a great movie.

A sad bump.

Andy Sparacino passed away yesterday. Never could shake his addictions. Calgary indie legend gone way too soon.

Hadn’t seen him in many years, I used to babysit him, was a great kid. Was sad to hear about his struggles.
