Default Laptop kicking off our wireless

Hey guys,

Every time one of our friends from out of town comes to visit, it seems like her laptop"takes over" and our wireless doesn't work properly. This sucks
..is there anything that she haa set on there that may, be causing this? Any easy to fix this, as the problem makes the wireless internet unstable as hell. Thanks!

Does it flake out for everyone, including her? How many other devices are using the wireless? Do they all have similar problems?

some routers fail when they have mixed G and N devices, this could be an issue

What kind of router is it? Maybe it needs a reboot or even to be reset to the factory settings. Give it the old refresh, so to speak.

I had one router that would just crap out when it got sort of busy. No amount of resetting, firmware updating, etc. seemed to help. So a binned it.

Possibly updating the firmware on the router would help (if applicable)
