Thought they would announce beforehand what he was ill with before he did pass. Comes off shocking to read this.

What a rough year for the organization. Kings illness and now death, Snow's ALS diagnose, and now this illness putting a pause to the season. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions for those in the org. you would figure.

Yep. Shook his hand in New Jersey for the same reason. My hand recovered about a week later. Dude had a firm handshake.

Tragic news. RIP Ken. He had so many humorous stories, and I thought he represented the Flames well.

Amen. I met him through a Flames Luncheon when I fwas working at the Dome back during the 04 run. His Handshake was something else.

During the offseason or right before the season started there was a ticket holder thing where they made mention of him flying a lot recently and they were going to release some more information in the future.

When they didn't release anything, I sort of felt it was bad news.

He was always wandering up in the noose bleeds in 04' shaking hands, kissing babies and personally thanking everyone for their support. Hell of a guy.
