Default Dan Harmon's new project: Rick and Morty

Basically, it's a weird R-rated version of Back to the Future and Dr. Who. Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland (Adventure Time) combine to make an absurd cartoon about inter-dimensional travel. Other actors include Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) and Chris Parnell (Archer, SNL)

I'm a bit surprised it hasn't really been brought up much here. Every episode has been hilarious so far!

Throwing my kudos in the ring for Rick And Morty.

As someone who dislikes Community, this show rules.

The most recent one is probably my new favourite. Didn't see the ending going the way it did.

Anyone been watching season 2? All three episodes have been fantastic so far, and I especially liked the Community reference in the latest one

"Ok now cancel it, now put it back on!"

Such a great series, the Simpsons intro was amazing, hopefully that brought in a lot of new viewers.

That's what convinced me to give it a shot. But what really sold me on the show was in the pilot episode where Rick is convincing Morty to shove a giant seed up his ass

"I need to to put these way up inside your butthole Morty, wayyyy up inside"
"Oh jeez Rick, I really don't want to have to do that"
"Someone has to do it Morty, and they'll just fall out of my butt. I've done this too many times"

I laughed so hard at that exchange the first time I saw it that I knew this show was something special

Great series and inspired by Doctor Who. Harmon's said he wanted to create a animated doctor who series and you can definatly tell.

This show is done in Vancouver, lots of friends working on it. I haven't watched it but might have to check it out.

It's a great show. I'm glad to hear it's been renewed for a third season. The episodes so far this season have been hilarious. The Jerry day care was brilliant.

Holy crap that last episode was amazing. No other show can pull off such epic mood swings so quickly, from dark and depressing right back to insane idiocy a few seconds later. I find I'm laughing the hardest when the show goes dark because it's done so quickly and so harshly that it's impossible not to find it hilarious

Best half hour on TV right now

I'm pretty sure that nothing will top an episode that offered us what was basically a new Flight Of the Conchords song however.

This week's episode with the memory parasites was brilliant. I cracked up every time they introduced a new ridiculous character to the mix.
