This show is so good. It's the most surprising tv show I think I've ever watched. It's funny, thoughtful, layered, and actually does tv sports well.

I'm two episodes in and I have to say that I love it.

They make the American a complete clown...but a self-deprecating, honest and genuine human.

A very different take. You dont typically see this kind of endless, contagious optimism in professional sports.

Like I said, two episodes in and its great.

Thoughts and prayers to the people who thought this season would be longer than 10 episodes.

It’s been renewed. It could be a long wait though.

Just finished watching the first season. It was really enjoyable and heart warming. Can't wait for season 2.

What was the best part? Perhaps playing Liverpool's Theme Song at the end?

Renewed for a third season before they’ve even started filming the second one!

The show has proven popular with critics, with the first season scoring an 86% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Variety‘s Caroline Framke praised the show upon viewing it, writing, “Above all odds, ‘Ted Lasso’ chipped away at my skepticism until there was none left — just like the character himself does to everyone he meets.”

Got a free subscription to Apple TV, love this show. The shot of relentless positivity was something I didn't know I needed.

If you want to see it, Apple TV has a free one week subscription offer, you can easily binge this in one week.

I found myself getting moist eyes at least once every episode. I don't even know why. Something about it was very emotional to me. Anyone else or should I be worried?

I wasn't quite that bad on every episode, but the episode about the following had some tears for me (if you're not finish S1, don't open the spoiler tag)

Spoiler!

And the 3rd will be the last, due to lack of Jason's availability.

That said, and I love this show, I am interested in how they keep the concept fresh. Not the team performance plot stuff, I think its pretty obvious what may happen in 2 more seasons (spoiler thoughts below), but...

Spoiler!

Anyway, still excited for more Ted! I just worry this was an extremely good show for one season only.

My thoughts on the "obvious" team performance plotlines for S2 and S3

Spoiler!

Like a lot of people I really enjoyed this show but I'm not sure it's going to have legs for multiple seasons. I just don't know how long they can drag out the lovable loser/underdog thing.

I bought an iPad recently and just figured out I have Apple TV free for one year. Despite my silly reply to the OP, I want to give thanks for the recommendation. I started watching, and before I knew it, I watched 5 lovely shows in a row.

Although it is billed as a comedy, it reminds me of Schitt's Creek. There are funny moments, but it is not a LOL comedy. Like Schitt's Creek, this is really about the the growth in people.

The premise is not original, borrowed right out of Major League. The story is predictable, and the football is probably not that realistic.

Ted Lasso is people!

The comparison to Schitt's Creek is a good one. Not a show that makes you bust a gut but by the end, you find yourself really caring about the characters. And how refreshing to see people be nice to each other and not always make poor choices.

The scene where you realize what was going on in Ted's home life was so genuine IMO. I think Ted pretty much laid out seasons 2 and 3 at the end of the last episode but we'll see.
