And he's frigid. Wouldn't put out for Dax.

Whoa whoa whoa, let's get one thing straight: Morn was not frigid, Morn was a mutha****in' P.I.M.P. The man was a playa, but he knew Dax had a crush on him, and he wanted let the poor girl down easy. He knew if they hooked up he'd end up breaking her heart.

First ep of Lower Decks S2 didn't disappoint. This show continues to be the best representation of Star Trek since DS9

I feel like I made a 'Four Lights' joke just a couple of days ago.

Who ever thought that the only respectable adaptation of star trek currently rolled out would be an animated comedy series? What times we live in. LD is amazing though.

Because its different and interesting, and there's a sparkle of truth in it that just exposes something from every other series.

The guys that clean the toilets, re-align the warp core, scrub the carbon. Honestly they probably look at their officers and leaders and see them as utter failures.

I mean how many lower deck people on Discovery sit there and go, these senior officers are awesome.

Nope more along the line of Burnham got my best friend sucked out the air lock . . . again.

I love the premise.

I did. I think I called this a decade ago.

Granted I wasnt 100% right.

I will disagree with you though. I'd 'The Orville' is #1 with Lower Decks coming in as a tight second.

The title of episode 2 of Lower Decks is "Kayshon, His Eyes Open". The very funny Carl Tart is in it so it should be great.

Because Lower Decks is the only one written produced by actual Trek fans instead of a bunch of suits and losers trying to mold it into something it's not.

Star Wars saw a similar thing, with the cartoons being made by actual fans and people with knowledge and respect for the franchise while the live action films floundered, up until The Mandalorian when those nerds finally got a shot at a live action thing. And surprise, it was the best live action thing in decades and now those guys are in charge of the whole franchise.

I do have some hope fro Strange New Worlds as they're taking basically the only characters they've found some charisma / chemistry with and putting them into a more episodic format. It has potential. But I'm sure they'll find some way to screw it up.

Pretty good episode to start the season. Loved the four lights joke, and MAriner's solution to the problem. It was nice to see a episode focused on Ramsey.

Lower Decks has been good, with a heavy reliance on old trek.

I like the cast of Strange New Worlds, but I can't bring myself to watch because of the cesspool from which it's derived. It has Kurtzman stink all over it.

Excited to start watching the second season of the Orville today. Seth McFarlane is keeping my love of Trek alive.

Lots of news happening on the third season of the Orville, though I haven't seen a release date or if its going to be released on Disney + in Canada at the same time as Hulu.

Wow I never wanted to watch this because I thought it would be so cheezy, but it's like full fan service combined with a good show! Trek Crack.

I totally agree - I always find myself wishing the episodes were longer.

Ha I wonder how CBS feels about the latest Lower Decks basically slamming Discovery/Picard as not true Trek, damn.

Hopefully the Picard crew take that gauntlet and sort themselves out.
