Figured I’d start this series thread. Do the Canes get back to the cup finals for the first time since they won it in 06? Or do the Panthers continue their Cinderella run? Discuss

Woah...sorry, just been living south of the border too long.
I worry that this is a poor matchup for the Panthers, just in style of play. Injuries to the Hurricanes top forward cannot be discounted, but this will still be an incredibly competitive series either way.
Confidence and bounces. That's all it is at this point.

I hope to see some intense checking and hits on the Canes players from Gudas and Benny.
Screw Tkachuk and Bennett. Both players who didn't want to play in Calgary.
Bennett was our best player in the 2017 playoffs.
Demoted to 4LW next year

Let's not lump him in with Tkachuk. The Calgary Flames Organization did not deserve Sam Bennett. It didn't take a genius scout to know that not only was he a competitive guy, that he had all the tools to be about what he was drafted as - a centre who deserved legitimate linemates and icetime.
I hope he wins the Cup. Just hope Bobrovsky gets the Conn Smythe and not Tkachuk.

I don't think Florida can run and gun with the Oilers, and the Canes have a track record of beating Edmonton in the finals. That's what's really important about this series - who matches up better against the greasers.
