Any Korean food market in town will sell kimchi. I've even seen it in Costco a few times. The one on 10th Avenue and 12th Street SW in the Korean plaza sells kimchi either in the jars or you can pick your own from their deli bar. At least thats how it was the last time I was there.

Costco Kimchi is terrible.
T&T's kimchi is awesome. They have some brands straight from Korea.

Big time bump. Is there anywhere on the west side of Calgary in the Signal Hill area that sells this. The only places I've seen are either downtown or on the east side.
Thanks.

My sister in law gets it at Save on Foods. She has eaten plenty of kimchi in her life and she thinks that it's pretty good from there.

15 responses and not one mention of the 'Kimchi District'? For shame CP. You are losing your edge.

They're all in the same complex. It's the kimchi complex on third.

I've never had kimchi before but it sounds like something I'd like. Any good suggestions on a Korean restaurant with good kimchi in the S-SW?
Also sounds like an Asian version of many Eastern European dishes that are cabbage based. Not to say was adapted from, kimchi was probably around longer, just saying sounds similar to.
