I really don’t think he is. Even this season, there have been times where he looked pretty legit. I think there is something else going on.

Jays just feasting on the meatballs as Sparkman wishes his former team a happy Canada Day!

7-0!

The Jays are far from a good team but, at least with the kids getting playing time, they are becoming somewhat fun to watch.

Sanchez is probably pleading to let him into this game so he can give up 10 next inning.

Jays scoring plenty of runs lately and the youngsters are playing a big role in that.

Giving the Jays a tremendously awful opponent for the Canada Day weekend was a stroke of fortune. Good chance to give big crowds something to look forward to. Especially with how the kids are hitting this weekend.

Edit: well, "big" crowds. Less than 30,000 for Canada Day. Wonder if Rogers is regretting jacking prices up heading into this season.

Gurriel now over 1.000 OPS. Unreal roll he’s on.

I saw a tweet somewhere that showed his peripherals have been unreal for quite awhile now but he's been unbelievably unlucky.

Hopefully he's figuring his bat out. Yet another solid young bat in the lineup if he is.

Jays have hit the most HR’s in the bigs since June 15th. The kids are showing that they are alright.

Phelps and Hudson are probably going to bring back some lotto ticket prospects the way they are going.

Smoak
Galvis
Sogard
Phelps
Hudson

All those guys could bring back a prospect or two maybe. Nothing big obviously but like I said lotto tickets.

Giles and Stroman should be able to bring back high end prospects plus...if they stay healthy.

This team isn't terrible to watch lately. They've been hitting well for a few weeks now.

Anytime you beat Boston it's a great great day. Especially going up against Sale.

So our lineup is actually looking MLB caliber which is awesome. '

The at bats are way better. Our collective OBP is creeping up. We are hitting home runs which you need to be able to do in the AL East.

Attendance was 16,883, just 542 more than Toronto's Triple-A affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, drew for their 5-4 home win over Lehigh Valley.

It's almost as if you are making a disingenuous comparison between a nothing game on a random Wednesday in Canada to the night before the Fourth of July in the US.

Remember when the Jays seemed like a threat to get no hit just about every night? Not so much anymore.
