I'd say Spiros, Nick's, and Tom's House of Pizza are good places to try.

Coco Brooks is okay, but you will feel like there is a lead ingot sitting inside of you for the remainder of the day.

Michaels pizza on 10th ave is probably the best pizza i've had in Calgary. I tried it because someone reccomended it to me. Really good. If you work downtown it's a lunch option as well.

Some of the best pizza I have had is in Kimberly. Grubsteak Pizza, tastes great, good toppings, not greasy, but a bit pricey.

Blasphemy! Either the place has been sold and the new people are f'ing it up, or you were a twat on the phone when ordering, and they gave you a mccains frozen pizza. Volos is the biggest thing I miss about living in marda loop.

Now that I'm a southie, Crispy Crust in woodbine is my new favorite. I actually drive there from even further south because it's the best pizza in the quadrant (no, Star Trek fans, I don't mean the Alpha Quandrant).

If you start doing your own pizzas and love it, then the next step is to get a Green Egg. Once you start mastering Pizza with fresh ingredients on the Green Egg, you will experience something you never will at any place in Calgary. Unfortunately, it will also ruin all resto pizza to just ok, so that is the con I guess.
I didn't know there was Pizza Hipsters.

I really like Giuseppe's pizza and their calzone's. Also, Lorenzo's Pizzeria is pretty tasty as well.

Una doesn't do reservations. They will take your number and call you when your table is ready. I usually drop my number off and then go have a couple pints at the Ship.

Una is my favorite of all those new thin crust trendy places (Famosos, Without Papers, Pulcinella, etc...), so it's definitely worth the wait.

Another place I really like for pizza is The Hop N Brew. So good.

00 is my favorite thin crust. It's located right near my office so I'm there quite a bit. The meatballs are good too.

Without Papers in Inglewood is really good too. They are similar to UNA, thin crust.
My only complaint is that there is not enough cheese.

I would recommend the Hutch or Shroom pizzas.

Without papers is good, but I wouldn't rank it above UNA. Same goes for Cibo.

I still feel that Pulcinella in kensington is underrated. There are a couple of really good ones on that menu - the rapini and sausage is a favourite. They also have an insanely good caprese salad. Haven't been there since summer, though.

If you want to try actual Chicago style pizza (not like the Chicago Deep Deep Dish joints) a new place just opened on 17th: Bensonhurst Pizza. They also do New York, Neapolitan and California styles but I haven't tried those. The Chicago style was very close to what I had at Giordano's in Chicago.

I like the Famoso in Mission, but I find the one out in the SE burbs is terrible. I think it's because in Mission, they have decent staff, whereas out in the burbs it was a bunch of bros.

Also, with Famoso, I love their salads. I know, I suck.

Moved closed to there recently, and it's probably the best pizza I've had in the city. My pizza eating has gone up 500% since.

I think it's the sodium. Take a look at the nutritional info. First time I did I said "I guess that isn't too bad." Then I saw that was for 1 slice- 1/4 of the pizza. A personal Big Al's (all meat) has 2800 mg of sodium.

Compare that to a Pizza Hut personal Meat Lover's, and that "only" has 900 mg.
