As a huge fan of all-girl rock bands, I've been thinking lately about what kind of "dream team" I would put together, if I were a record company exec.
Vocals: Taylor Momsen
Lead Guitar: Orianthi
Rhythm Guitar: ?
Bass Guitar: ? (Always liked Sean Ysault, but would want to keep things younger)
Drums: Meytal

Put Nancy Wilson in at lead guitar.
Marnie Sturm on Rythm
I'd put Melissa Auf Der Maur on bass
I like Meytall, but I'd put Cindy Blackman who plays with Lenny Kracitz on drums
Lead singer, it would still be Joan Jett for me for pure rock.

10 yr old japanese girl rocking out at some kind of recital.
And the following year.
At 15 yrs old. Start in at 3:05 if you don't want to watch the whole video. Pretty cool when she starts rockin the guitar solo and the bass on the pedals, and rhythm with her left hand.
I stumbled upon Meytals Toxicity cover with two violinists a while ago. Her drumming really stole the show in that video. Weird how this thread pops up not too long after. Really dug her TOOL covers.
