Default Mother's Day Brunch

Are there any interesting or different options for Mother's Day brunch in Calgary? I see that the Heritage Park brunch is sold out. The Calgary Zoo brunch seems to be available. Has anyone been to the Mother's Day Zoo brunch? Is it worth it?

We've typically just stuck to various hotels for brunch but it would be nice to try something different.

The Panda's were super tasty back in 1988.
Then the Stingray soup back in 2008 kinda sucked.
I think this year is supposed to be smoked whole Penguin.

I just checked and the zoo only has single seat tickets left so that is a no go. I guess a standard brunch at a hotel will be the plan again for this year. I might need to look into this further ahead of time next year.

My wife is hinting at the brunch at Craft Beer. Anybody been there for Sunday brunch?

Was there last year closer to noon, and they were out of maybe half the buffet choices

Thanks for the heads-up. I might forego that then. We're doing the Mother's Day Run/Walk and not sure when we are finshed with that. Don't really want to end up with some whittled down offerings.

I am pretty sure everything around Chinook will be booked up already.

Any suggestions for a non-buffet brunch in South Calgary? I've clearly left it too late and finding a reservation anywhere is a nightmare.

This is my 2nd year going to the zoo for Mother's Day brunch. I think it is a great way to spend the day, since you get admission to the zoo and can walk around for a bit after. Pretty typical but good brunch, they had a magician/comedian for the kids. But note, mine is through my social club and we have our own corporate tent, so I can't speak for the details of the general admission one.

I'll try it out next year if I remember well ahead of time. It would be nice if the Science Centre did a similar brunch.

Just went to Cheesecake Company for brunch. Plenty of tables. Good food.
