People see the low scoring numbers and that he's ranked 10th in the Stars system and they inherently think he sucks or will never become anything. Pure, low-scoring defensive defensemen never show well in prospect rankings, but it sounds like this guy at the very least plays a steady pro game and is defensively sound, the latter of which isn't something you can say many of our prospects specialize in. Initial impressions, I think he's a fine prospect.

I think after the Lindholm deal a lot of people are really getting ahead of themselves with the expectations.
