Sure did. Based on the advice here we negotiated price but also got them to throw in some rubber winter mats. It’s the fully loaded version so it’s got a lot of bells and whistles his last vehicle didn’t have. Gonna take some time to get everything programmed the way he likes.

I’m enjoying the Harman Kardon stereo so far.

Try out the paddles. I find they really make the CVT more enjoyable. Good for getting off the line quick if you need to, or overtaking, as it looks the power instead of it being a bit slushy at first in fill auto. Also great to "downshift" instead of breaking coming up to lights, I use them all the time. My wife doesn't touch them, her loss!

1 year later and I still have no clue about some of the settings. I almost regret getting a sport because I really wanted the Harman Kardon stereo but didnít want the leather.

For our winters I found hub centric awesome looking rims from Costco online for $125 each

I really like using them a lot as well, coming down from Silverstar in the winter it is a huge plus.

Any recommendations for high quality, professional upholstery work? Looking to get some quotes for slightly modified but original looking seats. I can do most things, but perfect seats are not one of them.

Ideally not some mediocre, looks okay from across the street type jobs. Thank you.

I did this in my TL and I kinda do this in the Odyssey now. Prior to this, I used the over drive button to achieve similar results. Turning on and off the eco mode also helps too. The Odyssey is surprisingly fun to drive. I drove the Pacifica and Caravan and it's ridiculous how clunky those two vehicles drive. Minus the weird drive feeling, the Sienna wasn't bad. It really bugs the hell out of me how insanely different the interfaces and knobs and such are so different from vehicle to vehicle though.

I was tinkering with the new MDX and TLX and the sport/comfort/normal mode are so advanced that the paddles seem obsolete. I kinda wish I had that option in the Odyssey... maybe I'll trade in my Odyssey in the future for a vehicle that has that feature... and AWD.

Never bought a car with a 100k+ kms on it but how many issues do you think I should expect on a 2012 Subaru Outback with 120k kms on it. A bit leery of buying something with that many clicks on it but biggers vehicles are not cheap.

Which engine? If it's the 2.5, has the timing belt been done?

Poking around a bit it seems like it could have head gasket and cam seal issues like the Impreza's of that vintage.

Pay $<200 for a good Subaru mechanic to give it a once over. 120k isnít really all that much IMHO. If they are the original owner also look at the state of their house or garage to get an idea how well they care for things

That thing is ####ing dope looking, and am even more confident in my opinion knowing that I'm the polar opposite to your aesthetic perspective.

I don’t have a problem with the shape but it looks too plastic. I’d have to see it in person to really make a judgement. Everyone in the videos I’ve seen seem impressed.

That's because it is "plastic", it's a wrap to protect the paint. An option.

Consensus on tint and 3M down south, is Shadow Tint?

Anywhere else decent down further south? 3M/clear front protection is more of a priority than tint as winter approaches.

Also, a little rock chip on the hood from Hwy 93 6 weeks back. Enough to leave a paint chip. Probably need to get they touched up before the film is put on; I assume a touch up pen from the Audi dealership should do? Been a while since Iíve been anal about these things, and had a car that I cared enough to be this anal about.
