WCQF: Winnipeg Jets (C2) vs St. Louis Blues (C3) — BLUES WIN SERIES 4-2
My prediction: I think St. Louis takes this one in 6 games.
The Jets have stumbled down the stretch, while the Blues have been one of the NHL's top teams in the 2nd half of the season, securing an impressive 61 points in their final 41 games, trailing only Tampa Bay by 1 point.
By comparison, the Jets are 18th in the NHL in that category, securing only 45 points.

I've been watching St. Louis work their way up in the standings after being in the basement earlier this year. That team is for real, and I think they'll give the Jets everything they can handle. To me, it comes down to goaltending. I think Hellebuyck is the best in this series, but both Allen and Binnington have been good in the 2nd half.
Both teams are physical, both play solid defense, both can score. I think it's going to be a helluva series. I'll say Jets in a very close 7 game series, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Blues win this series.

Normally I would take the team playing much better hockey down the stretch but the Blues rarely ever rise to the occasion in the playoffs so I will take the Jets in 7.

St.Louis in 6. Binnington is 2004 Kiprusoff, and the Blues are a bit like the 04 Flames in that once they got goaltending they were really hard to beat. But this Blues team has pretty good talent and depth. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Conference finals.

I can see this one going either way. I think it'll be a 7 game series.

I dont know who, but this is a great matchup. Either way, I think this one goes 7 and maybe even overtime.
