Yeah the new QD-OLED ones were pretty tempting, but I tend to keep my monitors for a lot longer than 3 years so still a bit worried about it. And some closeups I saw of text they looked better (the higher PPI helps too), but I'd really have to see one in person to tell if it would bug me or not.

This monitor will keep me happy for quite a while I think.

I missed the part that you got the asus 32 inch mini led. That's a nice moniter.
1100 dimming zones on that size ain't bad.

Yeah did a bit of testing with a mouse cursor on a black screen and while I can see some blooming it's not nearly as noticeable as I'd been fearing, and that's a worst case scenario.

Haven't noticed it at all in any games or content I've tried.

Also haven't had any vertigo in the games I've tried so far.. the main reason I never got an ultrawide was even trying them in an FPS in a store triggered my vertigo a bit, so I was a bit worried even a 32" would be too much but so far so good.

It's crazy that some things can be so bright you almost have to squint!

Cpu is on the final truck today.

Got half of Corsair order.... the hard line showed up but apparently the split the order so my bending tools and the rest of the corsair fittings is still in customs clearance... for the last 4 days.....

I have a thermal grizzly kryosheet on the way but I think I'm going to skip it ... I think....

The Phantek 260 glacier doesn't really work since I'm not mounting it on fans . Could mount it like a non combo but would block the writing on the motherboard as I'd have to space it out du to the pump. So I ordered this as a back up

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B0814L...b_b_prod_image

I might just use the 260 res combo in the ps5 build then..

Pic of distro interfering

Got this for our new home during the holidays too..

Our home is only 1200 sq/ft but I game and we are on wifi calling because Nanaimo has #### service everywhere. Example we live in a very central place on the north end and we have no cell services

I've never been so impressed with a power supply in my life.

1300w, The plates for msi/Meg and dragons can be re oriented, cable combs and custom braided cables for $370 on sale.

Installing windows now.

Can't get the led to light up on the distro but what ever. Thermaltakes instructions are poo.

Ignore the gpu cable. It is too short otherwise to run enough slack on the hpv12 . Will need a cable mod cable made.

So is the water feeding directly from the CPU to the GPU (or the other way around)? Seems like that would drastically reduce the cooling efficiency of the downstream device. Also with that many fans why not just stick with air cooling?

It goes to gpu first. It doesn't matter if you go directly to one component to another right away. It's been proven over and over. Im running the pump at 2800 pm. Also that ekwb block is like 3 or 4 lbs . It's crazy heavy and solid. There's alot of thermal mass there .

The 2 360mm rads are 54mm thick with 30mm thick fans . The 240 is 30mm thick . During full system stress test the cpu with overclockand pbo topped out at 73c and gpu at 46c. Your not getting that air-cooled. The other benifiet is the silence. At full boar you can't not hear it at .

Loop order goes res - bottom rad-gpu-cpu-240 rad- top rad. Essentially the liquid after heating is going through 3 rads that is effectively 940mm at 54mm thick and a part that's 30mm and a res.
