Former employee backing up Madison's posts about working at LTT. Looks like current employees also liking her various tweets outlining her harassment and sexual assaults.

Just ordered this from B&H. Surprised how much cheaper they are even after taxes, duty, and shipping. Came out to $499 CAD. Same card at Memory Express was $549 CAD before taxes.

Do you get an indication of duty when you purchase it or when it shows up?

I think they include it when you purchase, I don't recall ever getting any extra charge.

B&H is good about making sure that’s all covered.
You might have been able to save a little more if you price matched them at MemEx. At least they used to back when they sold camera gear.

I hate that you can't buy from B&H's online site on Friday nights/Saturday.

Which is the really, really stupid part.
I hope they don't have ovens with a Sabbath mode on them.

Interesting. MemEx's website states they only match Canadian retailers.

This was many years ago. Looks like they changed their policy. Sorry about that.

So, anyone wanna help me pick some parts? I've custom built a PC before, but at the end I paid someone to assemble it for me. This time, I plan to physically build myself, armed with Youtube knowledge.
On part picker, I was interested in the "Magnificent Intel" build, but it uses DDR4 RAM and I thought these days we should be doing DDR5? I'm afraid to change it and mess up compatibility. I don't need a Wifi MoBo.
I'm not totally concerned about aesthetic but keeping things black/red with understated lighting was kinda what I was gonna go for. Or a totally white build

I'm still using DDR4 and don't really have issues with it. That said, DDR5 has come down quite a bit in price and, if I was doing a new build, I would want a MoBo that supports it.

The DDR5 RAM I got (64GB 5600) in December/January is $100 cheaper now. I could have got 6600 for what I paid now.
It's annoying to think about but you'll never get something if you keep waiting for it to get cheaper.

I think it could handle 1440p on these settings as well, but 4K you'd have to probably turn off RTS or dial the settings down. I don't have a 4K TV, so this really isn't an issue for me for now.
There have been a couple of quirks that I've had to get used to. For instance, I knew that Spider-Man had XeSS capability but it didn't show up in the launcher settings. So to enable XeSS, I actually had to disable all super-sampling in the launcher, and then the option for XeSS would show up in the in-game settings.
The number of games with XeSS capability is definitely smaller than DLSS and FSR, but I've also been finding that the modding community has been creating mods for XeSS for most of the newer AAA titles.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this card for anyone who doesn't require 4K gaming. It's also on sale at MemEx right now for $479.

I'm thinking the next-gen version of the Intel Arc cards will finally be my next upgrade, assuming the price is still reasonable. I just can't justify the insane prices of the Nvidia or AMD cards
