They will not go quietly into that goodnight.
Fox scores. 4-0, Harvard.
... Darthmouth scores shortly after -- 4-1. About halfway through the game.

Harvard gets a late 5 minute PP and scores with 4 seconds left on the clock. Fox gets an assist.
6-1 Harvard after 2. Looks like the signing watch will be on-hold for at least one more day.
4 point game so far for Fox. He's getting close to being back to a point-a-game on the season (25 in 27 with a period left).

Tomorrow's game will be at 3:00pm MDT. Harvard is in must-win territory from now until their season ends. Any loss will be the end.
If they win, they'll be in the ECAC semifinal on Friday.

Doesn't appear to be on any Canadian channels. It is on NESN if you can get it.

Harvard PP goal. I'll let you guess who got the primary assist.

10 minutes left in the third and Harvard has a 2-1 lead. As it stands, Fox' season is extended.

Put the pens away. Harvard wins 4-2.
1G 1A for Fox, which brings him to 27 points in 28 games played this season.
They'll play in the ECAC semifinal next Friday night. Every win extends their season, any loss ends it.

I think that depends on the style of forecheck that Harvard uses. They might forecheck 1-2-3-4-5 instead of by position and he could be confident that he is covered by the players behind him. That was a pretty quick transition too. He wasn't cherry picking.

Fox finished the season second among ECAC Hockey defensemen with 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) in 20 conference games, and is playing his best hockey of late. Currently, Fox is sixth in the nation among defensemen, averaging .96 points per game, with 27 points (six goals, 21 assists) in 28 games, including the first hat trick by a Harvard defenseman (Feb. 16 vs. St. Lawrence) since Jan. 28, 2011 (Danny Biega). He has 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in his last eight games. Fox won a bronze medal at the IIHF World Junior Championships with Team USA in January before returning to Harvard. He was also a First Team All-ECAC Hockey selection in 2016-17.

Whenever I watch Fox I'm always wondering if there is a little Brent Burns in him....and by that I mean I wonder if there isn't a time when we see him play some RW for this team.
With our lack of depth at RW, the log jam of RH d-men, and his offensive skill set and hockey sense I think it would be doable.
(Burns made the transition from FWD to D post draft but has bounced back and forth as a pro)

ECAC Semifinals today at Lake Placid.
Harvard is playing in the later game, with a scheduled start time of 5:35pm MT. The start time could get pushed back if the early game runs long.
Harvard's opponent is Craig Conroy's alma mater, the Clarkson Golden Knights (it's a good season to be a hockey team with that name). Head-to-head this season, they tied their first meeting 6-6, and Harvard won the second 5-2. Fox had one assist in each game.
If they win, they'll play in the ECAC Final tomorrow. If they lose, the Fox watch can begin.
