Ridiculous to fire Claybrooks after 1 year. I hope he lands in Winnipeg as the DC.

Not a surprise though. I mean lets not get too hooked up on the success they had once the team was eliminated from the post season. Clybrooks had some real fundamental head coaching issues.

He was terrible ad adjusting to what other teams were doing
His hand picked coaching staff was really inexperienced and it showed.
I questioned his game planning and game prep for the first half of the season.

A lot of his weaknesses were disguised when he was with the Stamps because the Stamps always have a really strong support system for coaches, and DD is a great headcoach adjustment and game plan wise.

Claybrooks needs more seasoning.

You misspelled Maas.

Jason Maas is doing a fine job in Edmonton, I for one believe a contract extension is in order.

The smart money is Maas to the Lions where he reunites with Reilly and Campbell to Edmonton given his connection with Sunderland.

Didn't think we'd be seeing the name Kamar Jorden this season...

Edit: Royce Metchie is back as well, but no Eric Rogers. Also, Danny Austin is tweeting that Jorden is actually participating in practice.

Roger's the Stamps are always extremely cautious with just because of his injury history.

I'd love to see Jordan back, but my bet is its a Grey Cup game thing at best.

People point to BC finishing strong, they didn't beat a western team all year. they got their wins from horrible eastern teams and the Stamps backups beat them in the last game. they are still crap

Ok, take this to the bank. I’m hearing this is pretty much done.

Campbell to B.C. with Maas as OC. Hervey wants to **** the Esks.

If that's Hervey's goal in life then I'm in fully support of it.

This would make more sense -- I'm guessing Claybrooks would have gotten a second year as HC in BC, but compared to Campbell/Maas, the choice was pretty simple. Meanwhile, Maas failed as a head coach but can handle OC duties.

Will be interesting to see if Claybrooks ends up as a HC somewhere else next year. If he does I expect him to be surrounded with a more veteran staff...

Apparently the only way Campbell quits and gives up his Ottawa salary is if he has a job offer in his back pocket.

The temp suites/club area in the north end zone.
To be honest I think they look great, and it would make sense to build something similar on a permanent basis.

Got a pair for $100 each in the heated zone. Should be interesting to watch from there after being to about 100 games on the sunny side.

They're going to have to be creative in BC to fit them both under the cap.

Maybe they go with less position coaches.
