Grabbed Virtua Racing for $7.50 or so. Good nostalgia, and surprisingly nuanced in it's controls. Wish it had more than 3 tracks, but I keep going back to it.

For sure
Me and the wife haven't even started playing the created levels yet (bought on the weekend, and have at least 10+ hours in easy). Just been going through the Nintendo levels so far before we break into the awesome world that is created levels.
But if the created levels are anything (or course, they're going to be far better) like they were on Wii U I'm excited. They were a blast - and I'm also terrible at creating levels.

I'm also awful at making levels, but have been enjoying both the Nintendo levels and the custom ones so it's no big loss. There's some really great custom levels I've found so far at random. Sorting by top rated on Expert difficulty is a bit of a chore since it's mostly "run fast and do exactly as the level tells you" type stuff. It's only falling under expert because you die if you do anything wrong, even though it's not hard to finish.

I remember that being the downfall of Maker in our house after a while. Hopefully they fix sorting sometime with this one then!
Those and the 'hit no buttons and listen to my music's are pretty annoying. Neat once or twice, but in the way if you actually want to play

I'm finding the sorting is much better in this one. It's still early, of course, but very few of the easy levels are those where the flagpole is right at the start - most actually require basic Mario platforming skill. Normal is also pretty good. Hard and extreme can F right off though.

Yeah what I've heard is that if a level gets enough "Boo's" it basically gets tossed out of rotation from Endless Challenge and Multiplayer. Keeps the good stuff in those modes and cuts out the bad.

Done! Pretty fast auto scroll on that one — also I cheesed half of it by just taking the route above, not sure if you intended that.
I have a new one up: Gloopy Swamp Stomp. Please check it out!

The slow scroll made it waaaaay too easy. And I stacked two giant bullet bills to prevent that. Guess I needed three, lol.
I'll check out yours later.

Oh yeah, they were there, if I was little Mario I would've been dead but I was still Super Mario so I just took the hit and then ran through them.

That's a pretty good level. Decent standard platforming.

Please check out my latest: Ant-Mario! Inspired by Ant-Man. Pretty happy with how this one turned out, had a lot of fun with it.

Heh. I like the giant finish pole.
Another silly one for me, the Battle of Alberta: VCJ-W0R-4LF

I played all the ones I haven't tried yet in this thread today so here's my thoughts:
Cannonball Run - too short but I liked the level design, so it just needs more of that.
Gloopy Swamp Stomp - I really liked the used of the teeter-totter platforms and the varying routes.
Ant-Mario - Good use of the theme! It was neat seeing the small version and then seeing how it looked when it would be huge.
Battle of Alberta - Definitely a silly one, but funny! The Oilers route is the fastest through the level, unfortunately.

Can you guys create a new thread for SMM2? Probably easier to share levels and discuss there and keep it all in one place.

We could, but at the same time, there's not much else going on in Nintendo land until next month when we'll all be talking Fire Emblem and it's ridiculous 200 hour full campaign.

Don't disrespect Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 like that.

Huh. I figured it would come closer to the release of Pokemon, since that's one of the two groups this is clearly aimed for: Kids, and those that buy only for Pokemon or Animal Crossing.
As far as keeping the TV output goes, I'm betting that is to ensure the more expensive full Switch is still easily the more desired system for most use cases.
