There are some intriguing goalies projected to go in the 2nd & 3rd rounds of this draft. I'm pretty sure we'll end up with one of them.

We've started to roll out our 'Scout Series', where we have some of our scouts identify a player that impressed them, disappointed them and surprised them.

The first of which hits close to home with the WHL:

I liked Bleakley in the Under 18s. Solid player in all zones.

Taking a Euro goalie makes sense since we don't need to sign them for 4 years. He can stay in Finland until he's ready to make the move west.

The Flames should only heavily invest in Finnish Goalies anywho. They seems to blossom while wearing the Jersey.

Damn, that's an intriguing sounding tender. And, as a plus, his nickname is kind of built in.

Kaapo "The Kahk" Kahkonen is screaming for a stint in the big show.

Dominik Masin looks interesting. Fair sized defenceman and his highlights are

Looking at the prospects this year, Europe seems to be somewhat ignored. We could pick up some sleepers there.

If he's available in the third round, it's a no brainer to take
him.

Chatted with him yesterday. Good kid. Don't think he'll get out of the second round, mind you. Think we had him 32 or 33 overall.

Yup, he will get drafted higher than I ranked him. I have him as my 6th best goalie.... I just think he's really raw. Seems everyone else has him as their second best goalie on the board.

Thats fine, my ranks are personal ranks, they aren't intended to be a draft order prediction.
