Although John Astin was a big part of the chemistry on that show. You could flip the tables and go with a clueless heart of gold young character to pair with the wise yet bumbling Bruce.

Really would have liked just one more year of West Wing. A Santos administration would have been sweet to see.

I am gonna throw out another show that might not be well know, but was well done.
The Minder, a British crime Drama/Comedy I think it could really be brought back in the dark vein of Barry.
This one is pretty well know, The Prisoner.

There was a Prisoner mini series in 2009 on AMC with Ian McKellen, Jim Caviezel, and Ruth Wilson. Never watched it though.

the other one that was recently announce was a reboot of the Equalizer with Queen Latifah. I loved the original show. So we'll see if this one works out.
