When and where will you travel in 2021
During the multiple family zooms I noticed a frequent topic of discussion was trips in 2021.
I’m interested in what other people are planning for for 2021.
When do you think things go back to normal for travel?
When will you pull the trigger on international vacations?
Any types of travel you won’t do? For example, are there cerrtain countries you’ll avoid, travel types (eg cruises) you will avoid?

I’d have to drag my wife screaming into the continental U.S. I don’t disagree.
Maybe down under in late 2021 or early in 2022 for two months. Maybe a Europe river cruise late next year. Okanagan next summer. Perhaps something else that comes up.

Just hoping we will be able to go to BC again next summer, and on May long w/e. We missed that last year.

Summer 2021, possibly somewhere within Canada. I have a stupid Air Canada credit that I have to use at some point. Internationally, highly doubtful I would go anywhere in 2021.
Possibly 2022, but I find I am not missing travel at all. Which all my friends think is weird because I used to travel a lot and have lived overseas twice in the past.
I avoided cruises long before Covid came along. Well, those big ship ones anyway. I've done a couple small boat cruises (20 people or less) in the Galapagos Islands and Croatia. Those were amazing trips!!

I’m probably no out of country travel until a vaccine. Hopefully summer is similar or better than last year and most things open up again.

BC in early Oct. for a delayed concert...other than that, hopefully a couple CFL trips.
Leaving international till 2022 probably.

Tentatively planning for 10 days in France in the fall. This will 100% hinge on us being vaccinated. Our 2020 trip was to be a Maritime/ New England cruise but we’ve pushed that back to fall 2022. My wife really enjoys planning and researching travel, and we have a lose outline for vacations for the next few years.

Kauai in October. I was to go to Svalbard and then into the Arctic in June but that was cancelled so other than my trip in October, and possibly a trip to Saskatchewan in July to see family, that is it.

Really hoping to get back to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, and Vietnam or the Philippines for visits. Would love to end up being based out of Singapore, HK or Shanghai again by mid next year. I can't wait for travel to become normal again. I have really missed my friends during covid. Traveling to meet people, attend weddings, catch up etc. is probably what I most look forward to in a post-covid world.

I was a snowbirder to Arizona. By the time it’s safe to go again the travel insurance will be too expensive, it increases hugely every year past 75.

Take my son, who was born 7 months ago, to Nova Scotia to meet his grandparents for the first time. He'll be over a year by then and have only talked with him via Zoom and FaceTime. I anticipate the tears will be flowing that day.

I have trips to Phoenix, Hawaii, San Diego and Mexico booked for 2021. Every few month this year I've cancelled a trip and moved it out into the future. Someday I'll actually get to take some of them. I think Phoenix in March probably gets cancelled, but I'm hopeful for San Diego in July.

First travel will be to see parents in Sask and Ontario. Next will be Belgium and maybe Malta again. Would like to stay clear of the US but my brother lives in Seattle, has Kraken season tickets at centre ice, and we have credits with Delta.
When that happens? Not until this is near the very very end.
