Since the all purpose thread is bogged down by jerks like me, I thought we could make a thread for grocery stores since it's frequently popping up and almost entirely ignored.
Jeffporfirio and another user (sorry I can't find who it was!) suggested Beacon Hill Costco, particularly 1 hour before closing (8:30pm close). I can confirm they were well stocked (no TP), quiet, and no lines for check out.
Another user suggested going to Superstore at 2-3pm instead of morning vs after work.
Also note that Superstore has changed its hours to 8am-8pm. Burned me today.
Many other users have said Co-ops and Safeways have generally been well stocked.

I think a cool way to encourage distancing and maybe create a few jobs is to leave Safeway open 24 hr's. I'd totally go at 2am and stay out of normal people's way.

Did Walmart in Sage Hill around noon today, it wasn’t very busy. Only a few things cleared out, no eggs (why eggs? This seems to be common of eggs being a hot item).
They’ve got these packs of fresh half pork/half beef meatballs that are great. $5 for 15. Put that on some mashed potatoes with a side of roasted cauliflower and I had a happy wife tonight.

Baking I assume. With dry goods tough to find initially, and tons of time to spare, I know a lot of people baking, making pasta, etc now which was always a bit of a niche in this day and age.

Safeway does the majority of the their stocking during graveyard hours. Customers and staff would be bumping into one another. Then there's that annoying rap/crap music that staff would playing all night.

Bill Peters would not like that

Well I posted in the general thread about my trip to No Frills on Southland and Elbow as I didn't see this thread until now, so I'll repeat what I said there.
Went in about 5 ish this afternoon. No bread except for pitas, flatbread and bagels. Meat was mostly sold out but managed to grab some chops and steak. No TP but I didn't need any. I didn't look for sanitizers or hand soap but I would assume they didn't have any of that either. Everything else in the store was well stocked from cheese, canned goods, pasta sauce including dry pasta they had plenty of. They had a decent amount of milk. Pretty sure they had some eggs. Freezers were stocked well.

Eggs: A lot more people eating breakfast at home everyday, also a very versatile item. My mom always said, if youve got an egg youve got a meal. Also eggs are on a quota system so there is essentially a limited supply.

Here in Oregon, it's mostly pasta and rice that are still kind of empty. Most things have refilled. My main store has placed limits on certain things. It makes sense on some (cleaners, TP, eggs, etc.) but the curious one is fresh meat. Only 2 packs per visit. This to me is a bit short sighted since the result is needing to make more trips to the store for meat. My household is only two, so two packs of meat usually makes 4+ days of meals, but still an oddly low number to limit.
If any carnivores are hurting for a fix, TK Ranch has online ordering and home delivery. You may notice that the prices are much higher than traditional grocery stores but the quality is unsurpassed. They also have eggs.
Calgary Co-op Dalhousie at 5:00 was not busy shelves well stocked no TP. Staff told me in the morning TP is available. Flour was almost sold out didn't check the pasta isle.
If anyone is down in the deep SE, I highly recommend Harry's Natural Meats. They have a modest selection of meats (fresh and frozen) and all of their suppliers are local to southern AB.
