What data supports the position that mask-wearing should only be implemented based on a certain threshold of cases in a region, especially given the mobility between high-risk and low-risk regions?

Yeah I just don't buy that they are "uncomfortable". There are enough options out there that you can find an option that isn't "uncomfortable".

I have to say that when i wear my mask I get a headache within minutes. I am sorry about this, but it is true. I still wear it, but I get a headache. I am not making it up. I didn't want to admit this, but it is true. As soon as I take it off, the headache goes away within minutes.

I wouldn't say they are uncomfortable. Sure, it takes some getting used to, but I can wear mine for around two hours now without noticing it at all.

I'm glad that some of you think masks are comfortable. I have spent hundreds of dollars, trying different styles and still have yet to find some that are. Some are better than others, and those are the ones I use. I don't think masks should be done away with or that I should get to go without one because it's uncomfortable, but I am so sick of everyone telling what I should consider comfortable and not.

That sounds like perhaps you need one with longer straps as it could be too tight
I say that as a fellow large meloned person if that’s the case for you

I haven't said masks are comfortable, I guess my definition of discomfort is different. I find I can put up with some discomfort I just ignore it.
As Jiri mentioned maybe you have a big head.
I also have a big head (like real big, custom ordering a helmet for me big) and I have found the Gap facemasks fit me the best and easiest. My kids and my wife complained they were too big and falling off their face. That being said I suspect you have probably bought some of them in your hunt, but incase you haven't I thought I would mention them.
