The upcoming 3 game series will be an interesting one. I sincerely doubt either team sweeps it, but it would be a great sign for the Jays if they could take 2 of 3...
I heard something earlier in the day on him and the guy said Julien will hit a HR today and I was gonna bet on that, but then just completely forgot. Wonder what the odds were at
Not so fast. They tied the modern day record of the Brewers in 87. Where did the Brewers end up finishing in the AL East? 3rd place! Yes, that was the year of the Jays collapse to the Tigers.

I've been an A's fan for 35 years. The situation there has been leading to this for 20+ years. The A's have had a bad owner. The city and county never seemed to work with the team to get a deal done on a new park. The Giants really don't want the A's there. At this point I hope they build in Vegas and Fisher sells the team to an owner who will get a fresh start. I feel bad for fans in Oakland though.
Yeah, tough go for Oakland. A lot of history with that franchise and you really do have to feel for the fans.
A new start in Vegas is going to be a cash cow for the MLB. It's funny how after the NHL went there all the dominoes began to fall and it's just a hot bed for professional sports now.
He has ties to the Bay area I believe, so I'm not sure if he will. Though he has a small stake in ownership and isn't the GM anymore, so he could travel to Vegas as needed.
I haven't read the article but it's sad they would be leaving. Seems to have a lot of history with Oakland. I'm surprised the league is moving the franchise there. I'd think there would be crazy expansion fees for having a franchise there that they're giving up.
Further, I'd hate to play there. Imagine the temps getting 40+ in the summer on the regular. Yikes.

It’ll be a retractable roof. They will likely keep it closed when it’s 35+

Yeah Chase Fields roof is more for shade/climate control. If it rains hard it leaks. This will be similar. Have to think a few starters who started the game before the series in Vegas might go missing until the flight out.
