You're idea of comedy is a little weird. But I support that.

Best 2000s comedy I'm going with Euro Trip

It's amazing to me that Hot Fuzz isn't being mentioned as a candidate for best comedy of the 00s. Maybe it's just exactly my brand of humour, but it's the only comedy from any era that I can watch every year and still find as funny now as I did a decade ago.

Step Brothers is really up there right now for me. It's one of those movies that seems to just hold up. Contemporaneously, I probably wouldn't have had it in my top 10 for 2000s, with movies like Supertroopers, Old School, Superbad, Napoleon Dynamite, and Anchorman way ahead. Now though, Step Brothers may have the #1 spot.

It's hard to be Superbad as one of the best coming of age comedies ever made. My brother graduated high school in the 90's, I graduated in '01, my nephew graduated in 2010, and the movie related so well to all of us

I would probably give the nod to Sean of the Dead over Hot Fuzz

Just watched the movie Pig. What a weird and wonderful little film. You start off thinking it's gonna be some kind of John Wick-style revenge flick, but then it takes a left turn and ends up being something totally different. Outstanding performance from Nic Cage.

Saw M Knight's latest "Old" in theatre. Truly a disastrous movie.

At the very least the skeleton is there for an interesting movie but the execution was just such a mess it's hard to find much to praise. The ending was sort of interesting I guess?

Gael Garcia Bernal and Thomasin Mackenzie are great actors. In this movie, they are not.

Both hilarious movies.

Hot Fuzz is truly incredible.

Timothy Dalton. Rafe Spall and Paddy Considine as Wainright and Cartright. Olivia Colman in there too. What a movie.

Step Brothers and Hot Fuzz are top 5, probably 2 of the top 3.

Step Brothers is just so consistently funny, it's what modern raunch coms should strive to be.

Hot Rod is up there too.

Just got home from Shang-chi and the legend of the ten rings

This movie is awesome. By far my favourite marvel movie to date.

Forbidden Planet is a retro-future sci-fi classic. Smart story, effects that still look good, and young Leslie Nielsen being serious!

I like raunchy comedies. I like toilet humour. I like Will Ferrell.

Step Brothers was terrible. A massive disappointment.

Yeah, this is objectively and subjectively wrong on every level. Its a ####ing masterpiece.

Tell me one made since then that surpasses it for consistently funny moments from start to finish.

The Other Guys was as good or better than Step Brothers.

The other guys is another level compared to step brothers. Step brothers had zero rewatchability imo.

The only things that date it for me is the laminate fake ID and the skid who has to borrow the landline. Otherwise there are so many things that are spot on. The way they chase girls. The awkwardness of being at an older person's party, etc...
