Looking at some of the Q message boards many were saying he’s the love child of Marchand and Gallagher.

All you experts going on about so and so... meanwhile other teams are also passing on them.

Drafting another small skilled forward? Sigh.
Drafting another small skilled forward who plays with snarl? Yay.
Drafting another small skilled forward who is compared to Brad Marchand?

Yeah he's this year's Kabanov, Ho-Sang, etc for sure.
I think whoever grabs him at this stage is getting good value no question.
You don't put up his stats absent skill

Gaudreau might well be rocking a Flyers jersey by then.

Jakob Pelletier could be the Flames #1 centre some day.
Quote:
"Lightning quick hands, tight edges, and a flair for the dramatic. Despite his size, he’s not afraid to cut into the dirty area of the rink. Already a deft two-way threat and can play all three forward positions."

Like seriously STFU if you don't know for sure

He is fast. Gets to top speed very quickly.
His weaknesses are his strength and using his teammates. He drives the middle and doesn't play a perimeter game, strength will really really help his game.

Pelletier’s game can be divided into three different aspects: his skating, his offensive tools, and his defensive game. He’s a complete player, being incredible in all three zones. He’s the perfect exemple of what a 200-foot player looks like.

Usually a good sign of skill, as it means the player didn't just mature physically to dominate their competition, but Pelletier was over a point per game even LAST year, as a 16/17 year old.
