You can use the cbc sports app. Have used it before and worked great.

No Monahan again at morning skate; he skated earlier this morning. Was feeling under the weather yesterday.

About the only intrigue for this game is Gaudreau's chase for 100 vs. Draisaitl's chase for 50.
Edmonton's good at chasing empty accomplishments so I give the German the edge.

Gaudreau-Lindholm-Neal will be interesting to watch. I was hoping to see that line this season.

Observation:
Friendly reminder that Chia traded for Adam Larsson to solidify the #Oilers D.
Taking plus/minus for what it is, he's a -27.
Next lowest Oiler: Alex Petrovic at -15.

Frankly, reading through some Oilers posts on that other site between advocating for a goon show, which is disgusting, and having some misguided belief that if they beat the Flames that they'll crush their spirit, I realized that a lot of their fan base have effectively been brain damaged by the constant losing broken up by one fluke season.
Lets be clear here, there's nothing about this game that's an indicator about the Flames performance or preparation for the playoffs. By Sunday morning none of the Flames are going to be thinking or worried about this game tonight with the Oilers. This is merely a place holder in the schedule, nothing more and nothing less. We're playing a team that's 30 points behind us, they're irrelevant except as a piece of humor that fans of hockey laugh at. And if the Oilers win, its not a indicator of next year. They'll be worse next year, that's just the way of things.
So Edmonton

If Draisatl has a bonus for hitting 50 goals, I hope Smith leaves the net and passes it right to him. Let's hurt Katz in the wallet too.

I guess I have this wrong?
It was my understanding that a division winner against any opponent not a division winner gets home ice?
For example, if Boston and Washington met in East final, Washington has home ice because division winner even though Boston has more points.

He’s not on an ELC or over 35, there’s no performance bonuses possible.

I truly believe the organization made a decision over the all star break that they were going to give Smith the opportunity he needed to get ready to start the playoffs. THat the job was "his to lose".
Now the question is just how long the leash is. Lose and you're out? One bad game and you're out? Would it take a second bad game?
I suppose it will all be situation specific and should be interesting. I hope Smith starts every game personally, as that would be a helluva good sign.
