Both scumbags got to be embarrassed and the Yanks still lost. Good night. Now go Nationals.

Ha ha. Not a good night if domestic violence is something you enjoy. Suck it Chapman.

The look on Chapman's face after Altuve hit the winning dinger was priceless.
Suck it Yankees!

What an amazing game. Astros have a ton of talent, Altuve is a special talent but Hinch is also a very underrated manager.
Go ‘Stros!

Leaving so many on base was the nail in the Yanks coffin. Had a lot of chances, just got stuffed by Astros pitching. Still like the future for the Yankees with a lot of good young players, but the Astros are a great team today. Going to be good World Series.

Wow the Astros really showing their true colours. Truly unbelievable.
https://www.si.com/mlb/2019/10/22/ho...una-suspension
Quote:
And in the center of the room, assistant general manager Brandon Taubman turned to a group of three female reporters, including one wearing a purple domestic-violence awareness bracelet, and yelled, half a dozen times, “Thank God we got Osuna! I’m so f------ glad we got Osuna!”
The outburst was offensive and frightening enough that another Houston staffer apologized. The Astros declined to comment. They also declined to make Taubman available for an interview.
Taubman's timing was odd.
Closer Roberto Osuna had allowed a two-run home run to tie the game in the top of the ninth. He had been, by Baseball Reference’s calculations and any intelligent observer’s assessment, the least valuable Astro that night. So why would Taubman choose that moment, to taunt that demographic? It’s not hard to figure out.

Why haven't the Astros fired this jackass yet?
@davidfolkenflik:
NEWS: Astros assistant GM Brandon Taubman was targeting a female reporter wearing a purple bracelet on domestic violence.
She has tweeted frequently on DV; he complained about her tweets offering info on DV hotlines when Roberto Osuna appeared in Astros games in 2018. My story:

First they refused to comment on the matter, then they dismissed Sports Illustrated’s report calling it an attempt to “fabricate” a story, then Taubman issues an apology. PR debacle.

Scherzer with close to 100 pitches through 4. Tie game but the Astros have to be happy with that. The only way the Nats have a chance is if their horses can pitch lights out and pitch on minimal rest.

Nats are 17-2 since Sept 23 - that’s crazy and any team is going to struggle with them right now.
