update....I really enjoy looking at lofts with buyers but have yet to have a CP member interested.....the loft updates stop this week if we don't find a buyer (kidding for those who don't understand the green text)

I would buy one of these in a second if I lived in Calgary. Something about living in a loft just feels right, although these new construction lofts really don't work, it's that reclaimed warehouse aesthetic that I like.

Any chance these can continue? I'm sure it sucks to build listings without sales, but if it's not a hassle, they're fun to look at.

Is there a specific search term on MLS to find lofts?

There are only 5 loft buildings...shouldn't be too hard to find them on a map

If I was to buy a new place this year I would love to get into a loft, being a single guy with no kids, it looks like the perfect setup.
Except for wall cleaning, that would be annoying.

WTF is with the pictures on some of those higher end properties? Both of the Aspen Meadows listings were taken with a 2006 cell phone camera, and the 2 million dollar Mt. Royal house has crap strewn everywhere. I guess the Mt. Royal house is a foreclosure sale and those are just passive aggressive tenants?

I do not understand how the owners of these places are not firing the realtor minutes after they see the pictures being used to represent their 800k property.
OO property owner, I will give you $500 off commissions so you save money!
Property ends up selling for $20,000 less than it could have with proper marketing.

Yeah it makes no sense. 99% of people are never going to sell anything bigger than their home, why you would get so complacent in your sale job is not only mind bottling, but also boggling.
