You gotta like Schauffele if anyone will catch Matsuyama with the advantage of being able to put the most direct pressure on him. Matsuyama hasn't won in a while though, so maybe the pressure gets to him and he comes back to the pack. I'm hoping for a good final round, but not too optimistic, last time someone came back from 4+ shots to win was Mickelson at the Open in 2012.

Early indications are that the course is not giving up as much as it did yesterday afternoon. So it will be tough for someone to shoot a 65 and force the issue. Especially these first 12 where it's looking like coming thru those at even will be a good score.

9 years ago today....Rory started the day with a 4 stroke lead and got annihilated through Amen corner. Shot an 80.

Greg Norman had a 6 shot lead. Gagged it up hard with a 78 on Sunday.

Rahm was 4 under thru 8 and in trouble at 9. So maybe a guy like Zalatoris or Schaufele can post a 64 if they match that and create some pressure.
