"Russia" just crushed Scotland so now Scotland is at 4 losses. Scotland plays Norway in their last game.

Yes as I understand it. That was a rather monumental game and they were real solid.

Really? Canada gave up seven in two ends and had way too many rocks in play when up by 4. For the game Edin only curled 64%. Hard to argue Canada played smart, or made good shots, in last three ends. Mistake free and you win easily.
Have to be impressed with how they rebounded against Norway with everything on the line.
Norway dropping like a rock now, from a start of 7 and 1 to 7 and 5 now. I suspect they're done and will lose today against Scotlani. Whatever happened to the guy woth the pants?

Moulding missed so many shots at the end and blew a bunch of line calls on Bottcher's throws. We basically handed them the game. You don't lose when you are up three with the hammer after 5 unless you screw up badly.

Thomas Ulsrud? Last I saw him he played in the Mixed Doubles WC. I thought I read his men's team disbanded.

Yeah they were great but he is almost 50 now and likely calling it a career as a full timer.

The current Norwegian team consists of the 2019-20 Ulsrud team minus Ulsrud plus the long time third for Ulsrud (who was not on the 2019-20 team).
Essentially Walstad replaced the third in 2019-20 and they brought the third back this year once Ulsrud left and Walstad became Skip.

This schedule is so dumb. The 3 v 6 game is tonight. The 4 v 5 game is tomorrow morning. Then one semi is tomorrow afternoon and the other semi is tomorrow night.
And they say they have no time for tiebreakers.

Well Canada finished now. They played a decent game, Scotland curled beautifully and that’s all she wrote.

Disappointing finish for Canada. Every shot went Scotland’s way.
I really like Bottcher and the front end, but I wonder if Moulding is the right third for this team. He’s a great curler, but seems more intense than the other three guys. I wonder if a more calm and experienced guy like Mark Kennedy would be a better fit.

There has been a positive test inside the curling bubble. Playoff games on hold.

That's unfortunate. Curling bubble has been excellent since February.

I somewhat agree with the Moulding comments, but I might give him a pass here. Apparently had some major issues after the Brier and he had to pull out of mixed doubles with injury. The story was he was too excited with the Brier win to sleep and he ended up sleep deprived and dehydrated (not sure that's the full story though...) I'm thinking he didn't really fully recover from that and he ran out of steam later in the week.
Also, Scotland played an excellent game and were making the key shots. That was more about Scotland winning rather than Canada losing.

US and Suisse have started, they are playing with masks on. TSN not showing. It's on Youtube World Curling TV.

I hadn’t heard that about Moulding after the Brier. I did hear of an injury though.
Too excited to sleep and was sleep deprived? I suppose anything is possible.
Scotland played magnificently but if Canada had been able to put a bit more pressure on them maybe they would have shown some cracks.
