Hopefully the kids can learn how instead of resorting to rural crime and socialist wealth distribution, Robin Hood should have lobbied Prince John to allow more privatization of services and reduced regulation. The treasury shortfalls can’t be solved by taxation, but still, taxation on the poor won’t change but for the nobles and lords it should be reduced to allow job creation. The rest of the treasury shortfall can come from efficiencies and increased user fees.

This is insane. I assume the tests will focus on retention of this knowledge too? Grade 2???
I don't remember learning most of that kind of stuff until grade 7 or 8 or so? And I found it incredibly dull and hard to retain any of it at the time.

I'm glad my youngest will be in grade 6 next year so won't have to be subjected to that K-6 social studies curriculum. Though it remains to be seen what kind of mess gets made of the 7-12 curriculum.
