It's cold when there's actual humidity involved and you're wearing mostly spandex.

Hell goddam yes Kubiak WONT be the OC in Denver. This shocked everyone, shows how dysfunctional the Elway front office is, and generally continues the drama that is this team but as a positive no Kubiak 2006 offence!
This likely also drives a nail in the coffin of the Keesum era and guarantees they won’t waste assets or money on useless Joe Flacco.

Sources: The #Dolphins have narrowed the focus of their search to #Patriots defensive play-caller Brian Flores as their new head coach. No deal yet, nothing official. But that’s their target.

Probably a pre-requisite for any incoming coach. Likely all the candidates they interviewed didn't want him part of their staff. Have to imagine he's going to be out of the league for a while (or at least until Marvin Lewis gets a new HC gig) as he's burned a lot of bridges.

At least Jerry and Al owned their teams. That Elway seems to be untouchable despite not even having a 0.01% stake in the Broncos is odd.

From @gmfb Weekend: The #Cowboys are all about the playoffs now, but after the season they'll get down to business. They will work to extend coach Jason Garrett's contract.

He won a superbowl as an executive. That has to be worth something.

The Oakland Athletics are sending a group of top executives to meet with Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray on Sunday in the hopes of persuading him to pursue a professional baseball career as he decides between honoring his contract with the team or playing quarterback in the NFL, sources with knowledge of the meeting told ESPN.
The summit comes a day before the deadline to declare for the NFL draft, which the A's believe Murray plans to do. While a decision on baseball vs. football is not expected Sunday, according to sources, Murray's football prospects seemingly have grown strong enough to compel Oakland to re-recruit the 21-year-old.
The meeting, which was first reported by USA Today, will include, according to sources, A's president Billy Beane, general manager David Forst and others.

As much as I like Kyler Murray and love OU football he’d be nuts to enter the draft. Take your money, keep your health, and go play baseball.

I'd agree if he wasnt a quarterback. I'd have to imagine he would make more as a quarterback and his longevity wouldn't be much different. To me the tough decision comes down to guaranteed contracts

The lure of making the big time wold be pretty hard to pass up compared to possibly years in the minor leagues first if he planned baseball.
There's no guarantee he will be successful in either sport so regardless of which one he chooses he will likely always wonder 'what if'. Tough decision.
Regarding longevity. football is a crapshoot but Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold all had injuries early in their career, potentially career enders or limiters. RG III too but he's managed to make about $25 million from football so maybe not too bad. Like you said, the guaranteed money might be the difference maker.
